401(k) RETIREMENT PROGRAM

GHFCU helps employees build savings for the future on a pre-tax basis through our 401(k) Retirement Program, administered by CUNA Mutual Group.

Employee contributions are based on gross compensation. The Credit Union matches 100% of the employee contribution, up to 4% of the employee's salary.

Employees are eligible to participate upon satisfaction of the following: (1) completion of 1 year of service, (2) having worked at least 1000 hours during the first year of service, and (3) the attainment of age 18.

PAID TIME OFF

Rather than leave for vacation, sick and personal time, the Credit Union offers a program that allows each employee to decide how to allocate his or her paid time away from work. Paid time off (PTO) may be taken for vacation, personal business, personal illness, the illness of a family member or any other reason you choose. Full-time and part-time employees accrue PTO hours based on position and length of employment with the Credit Union.
